Chester's Chicken and Love's Travel Stops teamed up to create the first holiday celebration to thank the truck driver: Truckersgiving. On November 18th, the week before Thanksgiving, Chester's and Love's will invite these indispensable road warriors into the station to get a specially designed trucker hat and a free side of Chester's new macaroni and cheese.

For more than 50 years, Chester's Chicken has created a rich heritage and has won avid followers as a unique roadside destination, with fans including truck drivers and road travelers. With more than 1,200 locations and a successful store-in-shop concept, covering truck stops and convenience stores, it's natural to cooperate in honoring some of its biggest customers, namely truck drivers.

"Due to the challenges of the global pandemic, truck drivers are more important than ever. We rely on them to transport the critical goods we have become accustomed to in our daily lives-fuel, food, medicine, vaccines, etc.," Chester's Chicken Marketing Vice President William Culpepper said. "When the supply chain was disrupted, truck drivers and the important work they did were praised as they deserved. We established our wish to be an annual holiday Truckersgiving to praise and thank truck drivers for everything they did, including acknowledging many People stay away from their families during the holidays."

In Love's more than 560 locations in 41 states, there are more than 140 Chester's restaurants-and more restaurants open every week. According to Love's, truck traffic in the week before Thanksgiving is busier than Thanksgiving week, so this is the ideal time to treat these drivers.

"Love's has any reason to celebrate professional truck drivers, and Truckersgiving is a fun and festive way," said Joe Cotton, Vice President of Restaurant Services at Love's. "We know that drivers like Chester's Chicken, so this is a great way to express gratitude to truck drivers during the holidays."

To participate, truck drivers can simply stop at any Chester's within Love's location during business hours on November 18 and present their Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to obtain one of the over 2,000 trucker hats and Chester The free side of the new Mac and cheese.

Macaroni and cheese and two other new home-cooked dishes, mashed potatoes with grilled chicken gravy and green beans, are part of the Chester brand's continuous renewal. The Chester's menu can now be seen everywhere, both debuted with the brand's award-winning dipping sauce and famous fried chicken.
